This morning Senator Jeff Denham's campaign headquarters was abuzz with Republican volunteers and leaders from throughout the Central Valley and beyond.

Republican voter turnout operations continue despite Senator Perata's pulling the plug on the official campaign to recall popular Senator Denham in this Central Valley district. Joining Senator Denham this morning were Senate Republican Leader Dave Cogdill, Assemblyman Tom Berryhill, Congressional candidate Dean Andal, and a headquarters full of volunteers ready to head out and walk precincts for Jeff.

Local newspapers throughout the district have been relentless in attacking this misguided recall effort, seeing it as a political trick cooked up by politicians in Sacramento and San Francisco.
