In Memory of John Berthoud

National Taxpayers Union President John Berthoud, 47, passed away suddenly last week. John was a great leader in the fight to protect taxpayers, and his loss came as a sudden shock to the taxpayer movement.

John was a thoughtful, "happy warrior" whose positive spirit and thoughtful discourse won him many friends nationally, and in the nation's capital.

NTU issued a statement following John's passing.
